The Art Basel Shop, curated by Sarah Andelman, co-founder and former creative director of the iconic Parisian concept store Colette, and founder of Just An Idea, brings uninhibited, intelligent joy to Art Basel's offerings. Andelman, known as the ultimate arbiter of ‘style, design, art, and food,’ curates a selection of products inspired by the fair's artists and history. ‘Elevating art is important, but it’s also vital for the art world to break down some walls,’ says Andelman of the shop’s mission.
Featuring a mix of art, books, magazines, fashion, mementos, and Art Basel-owned products, the in-person-only store offers a curated selection of artist pieces from participating galleries, as well as new and exclusive items.
In 2024, the shop has already popped up at Art Basel in Basel, Art Basel in Paris and Art&nbsp;Basel Miami Beach,&nbsp;bringing a range of exclusive items that celebrate contemporary art and design.

The Art Basel Shop returned at Art Basel Miami Beach in December 2024&nbsp;for its third and largest edition to date,&nbsp;offering unique merchandise that captures the event's spirit.&nbsp;
Highlights included a limited-edition capsule collection by Brazilian artist <a href="https://www.artbasel.com/stories/paulo-nimer-pjota-brazil-limited-editions-art-basel-miami-beach-shop-2024" target="_blank">Paulo Nimer Pjota</a> for the Art Basel Shop's signature AB by Artist line, featuring tie-dye T-shirts, a tote bag, hats, crayons and&nbsp;a notebook adorned with mystical hybrid beings.&nbsp;

In Art Basel Paris 2024, the Art Basel Shop featured an original collection inspired by <a href="https://www.artbasel.com/stories/art-basel-shop-paris-claire-fontaine-collaboration-merchandising" target="_blank">Claire Fontaine</a>, the feminist conceptual artist collective founded in Paris in 2004 by Fulvia Carnevale and James Thornhill. This collection showcased distinctive products and publications that embody Claire Fontaine’s renowned style.
The shop also presented a range of new, exclusive, surprising and rare collectibles across art, design, fashion, and publishing, available to fair visitors and the public for a limited time during Art Basel in Paris 2024.
Additionally, the shop featured new Heritage and Art Basel Logo Collections. This collection draws on archival materials, graphics, and logos, paying homage to Art Basel’s legacy and its influential role in the art world.

Available exclusively at Art Basel in Basel 2024, The Art Basel Shop’s ‘Artist Highlight Collection,’ a limited-edition line of products developed in collaboration with artists, was inaugurated with leading American, Berlin-based artist <a href="https://www.artbasel.com/stories/art-basel-artist-editions-christine-sun-kim?lang=en" target="_blank">Christine Sun Kim</a>, whose seminal work in sound, performance, drawing, installation, and video explore linguistic and cultural translation through a unique approach to representing sound and language. 
Art Basel in Basel visitors were able to purchase from an array of memorabilia of the show. Paying homage to the fair’s rich and vibrant visual history, from iconic campaigns to key moments captured on film and in photo, AB by Art Basel premiered a range of apparel and accessories, alongside a collection of ‘goodies’ inspired by the fair’s trademark Unlimited sector available exclusively at The Art Basel Shop in Basel.
Furthermore, The Art Basel Shop hosted the worldwide launch of solo, diptych, and triptych collectible skate decks by THE SKATEROOM featuring designs by the iconic American artist Cindy Sherman, the latest in the Belgian brand's portfolio of high-profile artist collaborations.
